ABRAHAMIC
AMBASSADORS
Jews, Christians and Muslims call Abraham father. His tent, the tradition says, was open on every side, so a guest from any direction could walk in. This is that tent: a community carrying the Abraham Accords from the treaty table into streets, schools and houses of prayer.
The open tent
One father.
Three peoples.
An open tent.
Jewish tradition says Abraham opened his tent on every side, so that no traveller had to search for the door. Muslim tradition calls him Abu al-Dayfan, the father of guests. Before there were three faiths, there were two brothers, Isaac and Ishmael, burying their father together at Hebron. The Abraham Accords gave that memory a signature. We give it a neighbourhood: every page here is a way in, and every one of you is the guest he ran to meet.
