واعد البدوي، سفير السلام الإبراهيمي

Born on 4 October 1989 in Omdurman, Sudan, where he lives today. He studied law at Omdurman University.

He is one of the earliest thinkers of Abrahamic peace in the Arab and African region, and the author of working papers on Abrahamic dialogue as a way to end the wars of the Middle East, and to silence the sound of bullets between cousins for good.

  • Founder, United Sudanese States Movement: a project for a modern federal Sudan
  • Founder, Isrodan Organization for Supporting Peace and Relations
  • Founder, Arab Trade Center for Peace Platform
"Peace among cousins is the key to peace in the Middle East, and there is no peace in the world without peace in Jerusalem."
His principle: leading peace in the Middle East and the world begins in Sudan.
Our mission

The Accords were signed in 2020. The neighbourhood is still being built.

The Abrahamic Ambassadors continue the work of the Abraham Accords: peace between the peoples of the Book, carried from the treaty table into streets, schools and houses of prayer. We publish what can be checked, we gather people around a table, and we keep a place for anyone who wants to walk into the tent.

Checked, not hoped

Every date, signature and quote on this site is checked against its source, and the source is linked. Where we could not check something, it is not here.

Three peoples, one table

Jews, Christians and Muslims call Abraham father. We write for all three, and we ask each to recognise itself in what we publish.

Free, always

The Journal, the Archive and the Hall of Peace belong to everyone with a stake in peace. Nothing here sits behind a paywall.

Treaties need neighbours

Ministers sign peace once. Neighbours have to practise it every day: in schools, kitchens, mosques, churches and synagogues. That is our work.

Hospitality as a method

Abraham ran to meet strangers and fed them before he asked their names. Our events begin with a meal for the same reason.

Honest about the arguments

Jerusalem, Hebron and the Palestinian question are contested. We say so plainly, and we describe the main views without taking a side.
